Experts agree that shoes for toddlers should:
-be soft and flexible with non-skid soles
-be made of breathable material, like leather
-use velco closures, for easy and safe closure
-have a half inch clearance between the toes and the end of the shoe
-not restrict ankle movement

Toddler shoes should also be:
-fun for everyone!
-unique, stylish and comfortable
-stimulating
-motivational
-help your little one concentrate on his or her feet and motivate them to keep walking
-encourage proper heel-toe walking (great for special needs kids who really need to be encouraged to walk properly)
-and most importantly, SAFETY! You will always be able to HEAR where your little one is when they are wearing my squeaky shoes. This is especially helpful when you are in a public place where your child might go missing while innocently exploring the area
-they also help visually impaired parents or grandparents keep tabs on their busy toddlers
